ABOUT OUR TEAM
Our team was formed by a local networking group of St. Croix River Valley residents who wanted to address this growing need in our communities. From this shared vision, River Valley Charities, a 501(c)3 charitable organization, was born. Our group meets monthly to discuss local needs and fundraising plans.
Tim Jaynes - President
As an innovative leader in the finance industry for the past 20 years, Tim Jaynes joined ISC in 2011 and brings his experience and expertise of the financial world. Tim’s passion began as a founder and CEO of a financial service firm; after selling the firm, he started a consulting business, creating cash management and finance strategies for closely held businesses. Through this involvement with various business owners and families, Tim discovered his true calling was in the area of comprehensive financial planning. Tim’s focus today is giving back to the community. He holds board positions with River Valley Charities and the YMCA.
Bill Everson - VP
William is principal of PureWhiteStones, a Project Management Consulting company based in Hudson, WI. William provides services to the retail, hospitality, healthcare, and foodservice industries. Prior to PureWhiteStones William functioned as a project manager for Andersen Windows, United Properties, and Target Commercial Interiors. William’s involvement in River Valley Charities stems from his deep faith-based commitment as a servant leader. William has also served on the board of directors for Awakenings, a faith-based character building youth ministry.
Kim Best - Secretary
Kimberly Best is a Hudson Native who has a passion for supporting her community. Kimberly has actively supported non-profit organizations for over 25 years both personally as a volunteer and as a financial expert. Kimberly works as the Sr. Bank Manager of the Hudson Associated Bank downtown location. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting and traveling the world.
Dave Peters - Finance
Dave Peters is principal of David Peters, LLC a CFO and Management Services firm. Dave serves clients in Wisconsin, Minnesota and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He has thirty-five years experience in a variety of financial leadership roles. Dave earned a BA from Augsburg College and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs and the Institute of Management Accountants, a board member of the Rice Lake Area Business Alliance, the Chetek Hydroflites Ski Show Team and served as President of his local school board helping guide the district through a successful consolidation with a neighboring district in 2010. Dave has also acted as an Adjunct Faculty member at Lakeland College in their undergraduate and MBA programs. He lives on a farm outside Chetek, WI with his wife, Kristin. They have four children.
Greg Miller - Counsel
Greg Miller is a shareholder with the Minneapolis law firm of Trepanier, MacGillis, Battina, PA. He has practiced law for 24 years and is licensed in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He has lived with his wife and children in Hudson, WI for 23 years. Greg has a BBA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison (‘91’) and a Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law (’94’). His practice specializes in the areas of business and real estate, together with litigation that relates to business and real estate.
Greg is involved in many local activities and is on the board of Apostolic Church in River Falls, WI. Greg enjoys travel, the outdoors and time at the cabin with his five children and three grandchildren. Of particular interest are scuba diving, fly fishing, and bow hunting. Greg is very pleased to be part of River Valley Charities and sees significant growth in opportunities to help our fellow neighbors in the valley.
